(News From GamesBeat) Big Fish Games unveiled a live version of its “Big Fish Unlimited” casual gaming experience today. The company showed off the new service at the Casual Connect game conference in Seattle. Big Fish will bring 1,000 of its 2,500 casual games to the cloud service, and all of them will start within four seconds, even if they consume multiple gigabytes of storage on a PC.
Paul Thelen, the chief executive of Big Fish, said the cloud service will offer all the benefits of cloud computing: the ability to log in from any device, a universal experience across platforms, and the ability to play high-quality casual games across a web connection.
Big Fish has made an infographic (summary from Science papers) and like to share with our readers, as below. The point is through right gaming human can enjoy the benefits. Although some research samples aren’t big enough, but it’s worth your attention.
Video games sometimes get a bad rap for negative affects on public health. But if you choose wisely, gaming can help people improve their health and disease outcomes in all stages of life. For instance, video games have helped improve gait velocity, stride and balance in patients living with Parkinson’s disease and helped kids increase their fruit and vegetable consumption by 2-3 servings (with the right games)—contributing to a healthy diet and reducing childhood obesity.
